Author Guidelines

Governance and Public Policy: Global Perspectives welcomes original scholarly research and critical perspectives on governance, public policy, public administration, political institutions, international affairs, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Submissions must be written in clear academic English and must be original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. All authors must approve the submitted version.

Please submit a manuscript containing a title, an abstract of no more than 250 words, 3–6 keywords, the main text, acknowledgements where applicable, funding information, conflict of interest declarations, and a complete reference list.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all information, citations, permissions, figures, tables, and supplementary materials. Research involving human participants, sensitive data, or policy stakeholders must include an appropriate ethics statement where applicable.

Please use a consistent citation style throughout the manuscript. Tables and figures should be clearly numbered, titled, and referred to in the text. Authors must obtain permission for any copyrighted material reproduced in the submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, please confirm that:

• The submission is original and is not under consideration by another journal.
• All authors have read and approved the submitted version.
• The manuscript includes a title, abstract, keywords, author information, and references.
• All cited sources, tables, figures, and supplementary materials are complete and accurately identified.
• Permission has been obtained for any copyrighted material reproduced in the submission.
• Any relevant funding, competing interests, ethics approval, or consent information has been disclosed.
